Yin Yoga is a calm, passive yoga style that is mostly practiced lying down or in a seated position. It is designed to restore the nervous system and help release tension from the body and ease the mind. We use props to support the postures, gently stretching; releasing tension and stored stress.In Yin Yoga, the Supine asanas are held for three to seven minutes. In between there is a harmonization while lying down.
Yin Yoga aims to release deep connective fascia tissue, to ease muscles, ligaments, and tendons, thus increasing the freedom of movement and flexibility.
